Komandoo has years of history of education, the parents are profoundly committed to educate their children. The milestones of education such as community owned schools such as Madharusathull, Jalaaliuyya and Komandoo School have been functioning till yesterday, and it has made a remarkable progress of making educated society in the island and neighboring island as well. From the time to time the system was improving and developing but the inception of Atoll Education Centre in the year 1982 has made a landmark of education history in the island. As a result of continues effort by the people of Komandoo and unfasten support of government, today it has become one of the renowned schools in the Maldives, challenging among others, has student history of tens to thousands and doing up to London ordinary and advance level.
